Miguel Angelo S. Gabionza

Atty. Miguel Angelo S. Gabionza joined the Law Firm of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY on 01 July 2021. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Makati Chapter, and an accredited arbitrator of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc.

Prior to joining the Firm, Atty. Gabionza worked in the Supreme Court of the Philippines as a Court Attorney, under the Office of Former Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta, from 2018 to 2021. He also worked as an associate for the Litigation Department of the Esguerra and Blanco Law Offices in 2017.
Atty. Gabionza obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Lyceum of the Philippines University College of Law in 2016. While obtaining his Juris Doctor degree, he was a Legal Intern at Siguion-Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako Law Offices and Lu Mamangun and Juco Law Office. He was admitted to the bar in May 2017.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Degree, Major in Communications Technology Management, with a minor in Entrepreneurial Management, from Ateneo de Manila University.

ATTY. ANGELIQUE CLAUDINE T. LIM joined the law firm of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY on 11 March 2019 after taking the bar examinations last November 2018. She was admitted to the bar last May 2019.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Management from the Ateneo de Manila University last 2013 and her juris doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila Law School last 2018.

She graduated from the Law School with Second Honors and was awarded the Third Best Thesis for her dissertation entitled “Tying the Not: Setting the Doctrinal Standards to Be Applied in Interpreting Tying Arrangements.

Her area of practice includes litigation, general corporate services, and securities and capital market transactions.

ATTY. RAMON GABRIEL K. CARASIG joined the Law Firm of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY on 20 May 2019. Prior to joining the Firm, he was a Junior Associate in Tan Venturanza Valdez Law Offices which he joined immediately after passing the 2016 bar examinations.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Management degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2011 and his Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Manila Law School in 2015.

In 2013, he was a legal apprentice at Lu Mamangun and Juco Law Offices. He is currently a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines RSM Chapter.

Ian Daniel B. Galang

ATTY. IAN DANIEL B. GALANG is a Senior Associate of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY whose practice currently focuses on corporate, civil, and criminal litigation, appellate practice, labor and employment, family law, succession and settlement of estates, property, and mining law.

Mr. Galang drafts and reviews pleadings, memoranda, position papers, contracts and other legal documents. He has appeared and represented clients before courts, administrative agencies, and quasi-judicial bodies including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Regional Trial Courts, Metropolitan Trial Courts, the Office of the City Prosecutor, Office of the Ombudsman, Securities and Exchange Commission, National Labor Relations Commission, Department of Trade and Industry, and the Bureau of Immigration.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2019, he worked as legal counsel and compliance officer of a multinational telecommunications and software company. He also worked as a legislative staff officer at the Legal Affairs Division, House of Representatives of the Philippines and as an Executive Assistant to the Chairman and the Office of the General Counsel at the Office of the President – Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG).

Mr. Galang graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, Major in Economics and Minor in Psychology in 2009 as a student athlete and an active student council leader.

Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree at the San Beda University, College of Law – Manila in 2017. While in law school, he served as Vice Chairperson of the San Beda Law Bar Operations. Mr. Galang took the Philippine Bar Examinations on November 2017 and was admitted to the Bar on June 2018 after signing the Roll of Attorneys.

Mr. Galang is currently a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Makati Chapter, and was designated by the Supreme Court as an Investigating Commissioner of the IBP Commission on Bar Discipline in September 2024.

He also teaches Criminal Law Review and Legal Writing at the University of Nueva Caceres, School of Law.

Mr. Galang’s active participation in the IBP and law teaching complements his skills in civil and criminal litigation.

ATTY. PHIMIE GLAINNE G. LIM joined the law firm of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY on 15 January 2018, immediately after taking the bar examinations.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science Major in Psychology (B.S. Psychology) from Ateneo de Manila University in 2013.

In 2015, she was a legal apprentice of the firm. She was also a member of the Legal Network for Truthful Elections (LENTE), Ateneo Law Business Association (ALBA), Ateneo Society for the Protection of Civil Liberties, KAPWA and the Ateneo Law Volleyball Team for Conflicts of Law.

In 2017, Phimie obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from Ateneo Law School and completed all the requirements for the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Track of the Juris Doctor Program. She sat for the Philippine Bar Examinations on November 2017, and was admitted to the bar on June 2018. She is currently a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Makati Chapter.

He is a Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Makati Chapter and currently serves as its Secretary and as Co-Chairman of the Legal Aid Committee. He had previously served as a Director of the Chapter for 2013 to 2015.

Atty. Dy specializes in the fields of Commercial and Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Foreign Investment, Banking and Finance, Securities Law, Real Estate Transactions, and Corporate Rehabilitation and Insolvency.  His practice also includes Insurance, Intellectual Property, Maritime and Aviation Law, Technology, Media and Telecommunications, and Taxation.  He is also experienced in Litigation and Arbitration and Appellate Practice.

He is the Corporate Secretary of the Makati Commercial Estates Association, Inc. (MACEA) and the Makati Parking Authority, Inc. (MAPA), among other corporations.
