Antonio M. Pagsibigan

ATTY. ANTONIO M. PAGSIBIGAN is a Special Attorney of the Law Firm VILLANUEVA GABIONZA AND DY.

Shortly after obtaining his license to practice law, he served as Legal Counsel of the Private Development Corporation of the Philippines (PDCP) from 1981 to 1985); then moved to join the Legal Department of Erector’s Construction Corporation (1986-1987), until he rejoined as Legal Counsel, the Quasi-Banking Division of Private Development Corporation of the Philippines (Quasi-Banking) (1988-1990).

Atty. Pagsibigan went into public law practice as an Associate of the firm Fornier Lava Fornier (1991-1993), and subsequently set-up his own law practice under the firm name of Antonio M. Pagsibigan Law Office (1994 to 2000), where his legal practice concentrated in the areas of Litigation, Family Law, and Real Estate. He is also well-versed in Election Laws, and was the Election Lawyer for UNIDO (1986), Senator Butch Aquino, and Councilor Arnel Moti Arceo of Pasay City, Mayor Rico Echiverri of Kalookan City, and Governor Lee Verceles of Masbate.

He was a Consultant of the Presidential Task Force 156 from 2001 to 2004, and subsequently served as General and Corporate Counsel of Sanvil, Inc. from 2005-2009, until he joined the Law Firm Villanueva Gabionza and De Santos.

He is a member of the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals, Makati City, the Rotary Club of Pasong Tamo, Makati City, and the Philippine Columbian Association, where he was the Director / Corporate Secretary from 2007 to 2009.

Atty. Pagsibigan obtained in 1977 his degree of Bachelor of Arts, Major in Philosophy from the San Carlos Major Seminary, Makati City, where he has been a Professor of Constitution since 1992.

He received his post-graduate degree of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the ATENEO DE MANILA LAW SCHOOL in 1981, and successful passed the Bar Examinations given that year.

Miguel Angelo S. Gabionza

ASSISTANT ATTORNEY

Atty. Miguel Angelo S. Gabionza joined the Law Firm of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY on 01 July 2021. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Makati Chapter, and an accredited arbitrator of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc.

Prior to joining the Firm, Atty. Gabionza worked in the Supreme Court of the Philippines as a Court Attorney, under the Office of Former Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta, from 2018 to 2021. He also worked as an associate for the Litigation Department of the Esguerra and Blanco Law Offices in 2017.
Atty. Gabionza obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Lyceum of the Philippines University College of Law in 2016. While obtaining his Juris Doctor degree, he was a Legal Intern at Siguion-Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako Law Offices and Lu Mamangun and Juco Law Office. He was admitted to the bar in May 2017.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Degree, Major in Communications Technology Management, with a minor in Entrepreneurial Management, from Ateneo de Manila University.

Angelique Claudine T. Lim

ATTY. ANGELIQUE CLAUDINE T. LIM joined the law firm of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY on 11 March 2019 after taking the bar examinations last November 2018. She was admitted to the bar last May 2019.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Management from the Ateneo de Manila University last 2013 and her juris doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila Law School last 2018.

She graduated from the Law School with Second Honors and was awarded the Third Best Thesis for her dissertation entitled “Tying the Not: Setting the Doctrinal Standards to Be Applied in Interpreting Tying Arrangements.

Her area of practice includes litigation, general corporate services, and securities and capital market transactions.

ATTY. RAMON GABRIEL K. CARASIG joined the Law Firm of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY on 20 May 2019. Prior to joining the Firm, he was a Junior Associate in Tan Venturanza Valdez Law Offices which he joined immediately after passing the 2016 bar examinations.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Management degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2011 and his Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Manila Law School in 2015.

Ian Daniel B. Galang

ATTY. IAN DANIEL B. GALANG is an associate of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY whose practice currently focuses on corporate, civil, and criminal litigation, appellate practice, labor and employment, family law and estates, real property, and mining law.

Mr. Galang drafts and reviews pleadings, memoranda, position papers, contracts and other legal documents. He has appeared and represented clients before courts, administrative agencies, and quasi-judicial bodies including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals, Regional Trial Courts, Metropolitan Trial Courts, the Office of the City Prosecutor, Securities and Exchange Commission, National Labor Relations Commission, Department of Trade and Industry, and the Bureau of Immigration.

Prior to joining the Firm, he worked as legal counsel and compliance officer of a multinational telecommunications company. Likewise, he worked as a legislative staff officer at the Legal Affairs Division, House of Representatives of the Philippines. While studying in law school, Mr. Galang was an Executive Assistant to the Chairman and the Office of the General Counsel at the Office of the President – Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG). He also had experience as a litigation paralegal of the Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon and San Jose Law Offices.

Mr. Galang graduated from the University of the Philippines Baguio with a degree in B.A. Social Sciences, Major in Economics and Minor in Psychology in 2009 as a student athlete and an active student council leader. As a working law student, he still served as Vice Chairperson for the San Beda Law Bar Operations in 2014.

He completed his Bachelor of Laws degree (L.L.B) at the San Beda University, College of Law – Manila in 2017. He sat for the Philippine Bar Examinations on November 2017 and was admitted to the Bar on June 2018.

Mr. Galang is currently a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Baguio-Benguet Chapter but regularly handles pro-bono cases for the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Makati Chapter.

He has extensively worked with various startups and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the Innovation for Social Impact Partnership (ISIP) initiative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and PhilDev Foundation.  He also provides counsel to ASPACE, Inc., the Philippines’ first and leading co-working hub.

ATTY. MARTIN VICTORINO S. CUSI joined the Law Firm of VILLANUEVA GABIONZA & DY on 20 March 2017, shortly after taking the 2016 bar examinations.

Martin obtained his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2007 and his juris doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University Law School in 2015. He graduated from Law School with Second Honors, ranking 3rd in the batch.

In 2012, he was a Legal Intern at this firm. He was appointed as a Magistrate in the Ateneo Law School’s Student Judicial Council, andhe also served as co-head for the Hotel Academics Department for the Ateneo Law School’s Bar Operations for 2014 and 2015.
